The way a transfer works is very simple. This is what we do. First a client picks a number. Then they check with their local provider that the number can be moved. Proofs in the form of a paid phone bill is given to the client and his carrier submits the bill along with a transfer form for release of the number. The entire process should only take about 7 business days. Our company supplies free connect service during the transfer process so that the client has a level of comfort while the number moves carriers. In a few cases where a carrier takes too much time for the transfer, we have advised the client to call their carrier and request an answer as to why a request to take the number over has not been made. The process in almost every case is smooth and easy. Yes sometimes companies need to be called but that’s the exception to the rule.
